Instant Tragedy asked people to give a list of 7 reasons why they can't go to Vegas for the Winter gathering:
1) KajaWife won't let me.
2) KajaWife doesn't know I have a blog and I am not sure how to tell her or even if I want to.
3) KajaWife would think it is weird that I would rather meet random internet people than spend time at home.
4) MeeMaw would probably be happy to take care of KajaKid for the weekend and let us both go to Vegas, but KajaWife hates flying so that will probably not happen anyway.
5) I could send KajaWife away to a weekend at a nearby spa, get MeeMaw to watch KajaKid and make the trip, but it would end up being way too expensive.
6) I haven't been in Vegas in a long time and if by some act of God I actually get there I might not ever come back.
7) They don't allow 2-year olds in casinos and poker rooms as far as I can recall, so kidnapping KajaKid is out of the questions as well.
There. Happy now? You're all going to miss me. And most of you don't even know me!

Answer is obvious, learn from my lesson and come up with other reason to go to Las Vegas but issue a no picture rule.
